Replace a number of systems with more efficient inverter controlled heat pumps systems at a number of station offices.
The brief was to remove old fixed speed air condition units operating on the phased out R22 refrigerant, safely dispose of old equipment along with returning the R22 refrigerant for destruction as required by F Gas regulations. Then the supply and install of Mitsubishi inverter compressor heat pump air conditioning units of the same capacities, operating on more ozone friendly R410a refrigerant.
As part of the overall project London Midland wanted to create a more comfortable environment for their staff whilst reducing carbon emissions.
